The unique complexities & challenges of serving on the leading edges & front lines in just about any arena are distinct in their effects on our soul. Everyone can benefit from seasons of Spiritual Direction, but I believe leaders especially should regularly engage in some form of it.
Spiritual Direction is both soul care & spiritual formation. It's the companioning, probing, nurturing process which takes place between you, God, & I when the three of us come together to pay attention to the condition of your soul, to discern God's tailored & timely input, to celebrate your mile-markers, & suss out the larger activity of Christ in your life so that you can partner more closely with Jesus in more wise, honest, life-giving & sustainable ways.
